Biscuits with Apricot Jam

Using your hands, knead flour, icing sugar, butter, egg yolk and vanilla sugar into a dough. Wrap the dough in plastic foil and allow to rest in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Then, roll dough out thinly on a lightly floured surface and cut out biscuits with desired biscuit cutters. In half of all cut-out biscuits, cut or punch out a small, round hole in the middle and place each biscuit with a hole on top of one without a hole. Spoon some of the apricot jam into each hole (you can use any of our jams to taste). On a baking tray, bake in an oven heated to 180°C for about 15 minutes. Finally, sprinkle icing sugar over biscuits. Enjoy!

  • 100 g icing sugar
  • 300 g flour
